The Way Out is Through
Born from a desire to create a meditative artistic practice in an overwhelming and chaotic world, ‘The Way Out is Through’ series explores the colours and light of Aotearoa, presenting space to contemplate and navigate the hard parts of life.This ongoing series is an offering of carefully arranged palettes of coloured glass.
Each individual ‘wing’ is fired in the kiln, and stitched by hand to create artworks that reflect the colours of the native bush around Te Whanganui a Tara, and the skies from Te Ahumairangi and beyond.Photographs by Amber-Jayne Bain
